Permanent position (full-time)
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Under the CFO’s supervision, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supervision of the accounting team located in Montreal
- Responsible for the supervision of the accounts payable function and the credit and Accounts receivable department
- Preparation of monthly actual to budget analysis
- Build strong relationships with other senior managers
- Lead and coordinate the monthly and annual financial disclosure requirements
- Responsible for structuring and ensuring that the Internal Control Framework is functioning effectively
- Assist the CFO in the preparation of all documents required for Executive committee meetings
- Responsible for all income tax matters particularly transfer pricing
- Complete treasury responsibilities and periodic cash flow analysis
- Responsible to manage the corporate credit card program
- Support the shared services for the other companies in the group
- Complete sales tax responsibility for Canada and the United States
- In-charge of the external audit process
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Professional accounting designation
- 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Solid understanding of ASPE accounting standards
- Experience in a manufacturing company (an asset)
- Strong analytical ability
- Practical leadership skills
- Able to handle complex situations and environments
- Strong business acumen
- A positive and optimistic thinker
- Able to manage tight deadlines
- Autonomous
- Ability to work closely with senior management
- Excellent command of computer tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
