To support the market’s need, Michael Diaz has been named to Director, Fleet Upfit Solutions. “With the growth of the commercial van market over the past 10 years, Ranger Design has emerged as an innovator in providing best-in-class solutions for fleet clients in North America. With the increasing need in last-mile delivery, and growing need in the EV space, I am excited to continue our tradition of innovation with our Fleet Upfit Solutions program”, says Michael Diaz.
Diaz will oversee the North American fleet business development team with focus on providing more options to national fleets, traditional OEMs, and new EV partners. Diaz joined Ranger Design in 2019 and previously led business development for Ranger Design’s central US market. Prior to Ranger, Diaz spent 13 years with Enterprise Holdings including 11 years with Enterprise Fleet Management.
As part of Ranger’s growth, Jim Bigelow, former Senior Fleet Director of Cox Enterprises, joins the Ranger Design team and will be responsible for clients in the Telecommunications and Utilities Sectors. During his 30 years in the fleet industry, Bigelow held senior fleet positions with DHL Express, Pinnergy, ServiceMaster, and UPS. Most recently at Cox Enterprises, Bigelow oversaw a national fleet of more than 16,000 vehicles.
