The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is an integral member of the Ranger Design Supply Chain Team. Ranger Design’s Supply Chain vision is to create a supply chain that drives business success by developing an effective vision, developing end to end process architecture and designing the organization for performance.
The Ranger Design Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is accountable to:
- Maximize cash flow and warehouse efficiency through minimum inventory levels
- Ensure reliable inventory accuracy
- Manage freight expense and audit the processes
- Optimize shipment routing, build loads, and route shipments
The position reports to the Inventory and Logistics Manager and is part of a team that is located in both the US and in Canada. You will work closely with Ranger’s distributor network, which covers all of North America. Ranger Design employees work in a collaborative environment, and to excel in this role, you will need to be able to work together with your own team and with other teams in the company. Therefore, top communication skills are critical to achieving exceptional results. The successful Coordinator has the ability to grasp the ‘big picture’ while also following detailed procedures in order to achieve the established goals.
Detailed analysis, comparison and optimizing of routes for maximum efficiencies and service as well as negotiating with freight companies are all part of this job. In order to locate and correct unwarranted freight charges, the Logistics and Inventory Coordinator audits supplier invoices for discrepancies. He / She understands and follows customs and government regulations, and all documentation requirements. Because world class customer service is Ranger’s goal, the ability to react to customer requests and formulate solutions that will provide exceptional customer service is very important.

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, VBA and PowerPoint)
Proficient in programming
5+ years Supply Chain experience
ERP (preferably Epicor) knowledge and proficiency
$55K – $60K plus monthly bonus
