A diagnostic approach
Taking a diagnostic approach, Ranger Design teamed up with a telecom client looking to improve access to cargo in its fleet vehicles. The aim was to find a telecom fleet solution that could be adapted to different needs and that would lower the risk of back injury for employees.

Ranger Design focused on developing a custom storage solution that would reduce back injuries by improving access to products and tools in all fleet vehicles.

Concept and design of a unique upfit package consisting
of adjustable/removable shelves and a foldable cable reel
holder to reduce loading efforts.
CHALLENGES
Determining how organization can improve efficiency. We rode along with the client’s technicians to assess their day-to-day needs and their workflow efficiency. We used this information to create customized drawings, engineered layouts, and pilot vans to test the solution.
Understanding the business requirements. Using reports and analyses, we designed a cost-effective, easy-to-handle solution that put the safety of technicians first.
Insuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Keeping the technician’s daily operations in mind, we came up with solutions that were approved by health and safety advisors.
