Senior Procurement Specialist

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Permanent position (full-time)

We’re looking for a Senior Procurement professional who can go beyond placing orders and truly shape how we source, negotiate, and manage supplier partnerships.

This role will bring structure, insight, and accountability to our procurement function: optimizing costs without compromising quality, reducing risk, improving lead times, and helping our teams plan with confidence. The Senior Procurement partner will collaborate across departments, support operational efficiency, and ensure our supply chain keeps pace with the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sourcing, planning, quoting, scheduling and ordering input material
  • Maintaining supplier relationships
  • Communicate with the respective teams on project timelines, deadlines and ensure all commitments are respected
  • Perform supplier assessment audits.
  • Issue fast accurate quotes to the respective teams
  • Monitor shortages daily and create a plan to eliminate them
  • Be the central point of contact for supplier
  • Contribute to the company’s profitability through daily actions and projects that have a lasting impact on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Supporting internal customers
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity and strategic skills
  • Knowledge of an ERP (Epicor, would be an asset)
  • Bilingual
  • Outstanding communication skills and business acumen
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel,. Powerpoint.

Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of the English language is also required due to the nature of the business and the need to interact with Ranger Design’s US sites, clients and customers.
