IT Helpdesk & System Support

Location: Rochester, New York

We are currently seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented, and solution-driven IT Helpdesk & System Support to provide timely and effective technical support to our team and ensure smooth IT operations. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Provide onsite IT level 2 support for Rochester plant including software (Microsoft office/outlook +), network, hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devises, peripherals/printers) 

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve ad hoc technical problems and resolve level 1 and 2 issues 

• Provide superior customer service including working with employees to walk them through solutions 

• Support with larger IT projects 

• Carry out system upgrades 

• Installation and setup of all new office hires as well as deactivation 

• Manage all hardware for the site 

• Committed to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance support capabilities. 

Qualifications 

• Proficient in using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and remote support tools to manage, track, and resolve technical issues efficiently and in alignment with service level expectations. 

• 1–3 years of experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support technician role. 

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

Key Skills 

• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner. 

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users at all technical levels. 

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and time management skills. 

• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
