What we are looking for

Currently we are looking for a highly proactive, driven, and efficient Business Development Manager who will cover 8 North Central US states. Given the value we place on face-to-face meetings with clients, expect to travel 50% of your time. It would be ideal to be located near a major international airport in the northern central states.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this remote opportunity is focused on developing and growing relationships with our distributors, commercial dealerships, and end users where you can bring insightful long-term solutions to their business through Ranger Design and Prime Design’s portfolio of products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and proactively establish key partner upfitters in each of the major metropolitan areas in the assigned territory
  • Secure meetings with decision makers at distributors, end users and commercial dealerships
  • Build a pipeline of business that enables our business to meet its sales goals
  • Build and maintain loyal relationships that provide ongoing profitability to the business
  • Support our distributor’s staff on selling and installing Ranger Design and Prime Design products
  • Promote our brands during tradeshows & industry events
  • Create and grow a network of relevant contacts throughout the industry
  • Partner with our internal support teams to deliver excellent projects and customer service
  • Build relationships face to face, travelling 50% of your time across your territory
  • Be an ambassador of our core values

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience within the automotive industry, such as an FMC, commercial dealership or Upfitter
  • Excellent strategic forecasting skills
  • Proactive and competitive business development skills
  • Motivated self-starter able to work both autonomously and as a strong team player
  • Previous CRM experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Prioritize and manage multiple clients and demands in an exciting and dynamic environment.
  • Willing to travel 50% of time and have a valid passport as travel to Canada is a requirement
